Welcome to Banana Moon Day Nursery Nunhead

I feel really privileged to be the director of our beautiful and award winning nursery In Nunhead. Since we open in 2013, we have been working very hard to create a warm, safe and loving environment for our children. My experienced, dedicated and friendly team from the nursery manager to our in-house chef, are doing everything they can to provide a fun, nutritious and educational environment and cater for each child’s need.

As a parent myself, I fully understand how important to find the right nursery for your child. My philosophy is to provide the same high standard of care and dedication that I would expect for my own child.

We in Banana Moon Nunhead take a great pride in our partnership with our parents and we see it an essential part of the child development and progress.

Our son has been at Banana Moon for over a year since he was 5-months-old. He is so happy there and looks forward to each day. The level of care is excellent and he loves all the staff. They have adapted his learning experience so well to suit each stage and his speech and vocabulary is noticeably good.
The team have been very good at flagging any concerns and exercise good judgement at all times.
It would be great to have an improved outside area but they have plans for this and are currently making the best of the space they have. We would highly recommend this nursery.

We are so glad we chose Banana Moon for our daughter, she is so happy there. From day 1 the staff have been kind, consistent and communicated clearly, and our daughter is always happy when it's a nursery day. They have outdone themselves during the Corona crisis, with regular, detailed communication,
asking for input and our views, putting on Zoom activities while we were at home, and then very clearly communicating how they were going to reopen. They also have good plans about how they can improve the space and the provision. The staff are consistent, and we love them!

Both my son and daughter attend the nursery and they are very happy there. My son has been there for 2 and a half years and in that time has built very close relationships with the staff and other children, as have we as parents. They are very keen to involve parents in their child's learning journey
as much as possible and always open to new suggestions. The love that the staff have for the children is very apparent and there is no doubt that the children are incredibly well cared for. I would definitely recommend this nursery to other parents and will be sad when the time comes for our children to move on from here.
